I hope you are doing fantastic. I just got back from the field where I was leading my VPT Bootcamp class.

What I really love about going to the field and doing "field work" with my clients is we get to "play."
Not only do I put them through a bunch of agility drills and football drills, I get to see if I still have it in me.
I love my job and I love when I get to go out to the field and "play!"
I share this with you because I want to make sure you are "playing" in your life also. I say it in our workouts all the time with my clients: "Make sure you are playing today! Work hard, loosen up, have some fun, and play. Think of this as your playground and for the next 45 minutes, PLAY!"
My friends, somewhere along the line, we have lost the element of "play." As kids, we used to play all the time. I have to admit, I used to love dodgeball and tag. Nowadays, our lives are so structured and rigid that we rarely just loosen up and play.
My encouragement to you is to think of your workouts as "play-time." It is sacred time to relax, enjoy, burn stress, smile, and have fun. And while you may not have dodgeballs being thrown at your face or be on a field re-living your glory days, if nothing else, approach your workouts as "Play-time" and have some fun.
Create an amazing rest of the week and I look forward to seeing you soon.
See you on the playground!
