We join you in remembering those whose lives were taken

What a strange day 9/11 is for me and
for many.
 It's still a surreal day.
I was a sophmore in college.
the school was listening to the radio.
 They weren't sure what happened...
The radio thought 2 planes collided...
When the facts were out, the school
emptied out in a heart beat

 There were many teachers that
had friends and family members working
in the twin towers when 9/11 happened.
I had a few friends working in the city as well
but they were not in the towers & they were able to
get to a different part of the city for safety.
AFTER 9/11, everyone was driving with the
American Flag and people seemed to have bonded together.

People were treating one another nicer
 and showed they cared.
I know life gets busy and makes you
 crazy....
I guess this e mail is about knowing
what you got before it goes bad.
Be nice to people because it's the right thing
 to do, NOT because
something bad happened.
You probably have a LOT of people around you that
you could be nicer to as well.
Don't wait for something bad to happen before you
care and realize what you've got.
