Sure they appear to be a low calorie choice with just 5 calories a bean. But how many do you REALLY eat! Seriously - if they are sitting in a bag, a bowl, a basket - how many do you grab with each passing handful? I know I can get at least 15 in my hand - do this a few times and you are looking at an extra 40 grams of sugar.

Try this instead…Throw them away.The cool thing about jelly beans is that they are Cheap and no one really cares after the Easter basket is ravaged. The only thing you will miss are the inches lost off your belly from NOT eating them throughout the day.
3. Chocolate Bunny
You may not want to know this but I must tell you.The bunny that we will take bites of throughout the day, is a whopping 1,000+ calories.This is an average 7 ounce bunny.
Try this instead…Put a NO calorie bunny in the basket- a stuffed bunny, a toy, a book or a movie.Something that lasts and has a bit more value than a piece of candy.

Yes, eggs are GOOD for you.An excellent source of protein and good for you nutrients. One egg is about 70 calories, the white has about 3.5g protein and yolks have almost 3g. Yolks also have most of the other vitamins and minerals in eggs - so eat the whole thing! Eggs have the whole food nutrition you need to feel satisfied and avoid sugar cravings.
- Hard boiled eggs are easy on the go snacks- Chop it up and toss on your spinach salad- Make a batch up for Egg Salad - keep fat down, use yogurt and/or mustard
6. Avoid After Easter Candy SalesOut of all the temptations you will be surrounded with this Easter weekend - the Biggest one you will face….the After Easter Candy Sales!

It is your daily habits- - the things you are doing day after day after day that allow you to see results or not. So enjoy this Easter Weekend with a little more awareness and a little less guilt. Have fun and enjoy the time spent with your family.
